Addressing cultural and linguistic needs and preferences in

behavioral health care service delivery

Multicultural Alliance Health Care Solutions, Inc., a licensed community behavioral health clinic serving South Florida's Broward County and Miami-Dade County, offers a broad array of services to children, adolescents, adults and families. Services are provided onsite at its outpatient clinic located at 2700 West Cypress Creek Road, Executive Court, Suite B-106, Fort Lauderdale, FL, or if eligible, in-home or in-community.

MAHCS is dedicated to promoting the wellness and recovery of youth and their families by empowering them to utilize their strengths to enhance their quality of life. Our team of highly qualified, culturally and linguistically competent behavioral health professionals are here to help.

oUTPATIENT cOUNSELING SERVICES

MAHCS provides individual, family and group counseling to help address with issues such as:

  • Anger Management

  • Domestic Violence

  • Parent-Child Conflict

  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • School Adjustment

  • Abuse and Neglect

  • Delinquency

  • Adverse reaction to divorce, illness or other traumatic events

Additionally, MAHCS provides Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments, Parent Mental Health Assessments,  Biopsychosocial Assessments, and Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management.

All services are provided by highly qualified behavioral health professionals trained in various treatment modalities and evidenced-based practices.

Most services are provided in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese.

Targeted Case Management (TCM)

 Targeted Case Management (TCM)

The Targeted Case Management Program is designed to enhance the functioning of individuals with complex needs by coordinating the delivery of quality treatment and support services in the most efficient and effective manner.

 The purpose of the Children’s Targeted Case Management Program is to connect individuals with the appropriate resources within the community. In linking, educating the need for services will assist in empowering children and families to become self-efficient.

 The Targeted Children's Case Managers will provide advocacy at the school, community, agencies, and court setting to assist our recipients in becoming productive members of our community. The Target Case Manager will attentively work with the recipient to ensure the follow-up of services in order to assist the recipient in becoming successful

 

iN-COMMUNITY SERVICES

MAHCS provides On-Site or Community-Based Treatment Services designed to assist children and families who have complex needs in an effort to prevent the need for a more intensive, restrictive behavioral health placement.

Services include:

  • Strength-based, clinical assessment in order to evaluate, define, and delineate treatment needs.

  • Individual and family therapy facilitated by a bilingual, culturally competent therapist.

  • Engagement of family’s natural support system to assist in implementing the treatment plan.

  • Development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior programming for the child or adolescent.

This program is designed specifically for children and adolescents who have Medicaid and meet eligibility requirements for In-Home Services.
